Iceland
Iceland’s landscape is truly majestic and awe-inspiring! Sixty metre high waterfalls and glaciers that run down to the ocean; black basalt beaches and, of course, the wonderful Northern Lights.
These photos were taken during a four day photography trip with good friends along the south coast from the ice covered beaches at Jökulsarlón in the south east through to Vik and the 'golden circle' area near the capital Reykjavik.
I try to keep my fine art photography as simple as possible. This applies both to the composition of the photos and to the camera equipment which was a Nikon D800 with just two lenses and a tripod.
