A long-exposure photo taken at dawn of waves breaking on the beach near Vik on the south coast of Iceland.
There are often pleasant surprises when doing long-exposure photos and with this image I was surprised to see that the final edge of each successive wave was defined from the others - I guess each of those lines you can see is where the white foam leading edge of each wave finally stopped as it rolled up the black volcanic sand of the beach.
