A long exposure photo of architect Daniel Libeskind's Imperial War Museum North which is located in Trafford Park on the banks of the Manchester Ship Canal.

This was photographed at dusk with the low sun lighting up the metal cladding of the 55 metre high air shard.

Architecturally the building is designed to represent a globe splintered by war into three shards, those of air, earth and water.
