Photographed during a walk in the hills in Corsica where I was on holiday with my family in August 2009.

I'd almost forgotten what strong sunlight was like. We had 2 weeks in Corsica of high temperatures, deep blue skies and wonderful Meditteranean light which was really great after the summer of overcast skies and drizzly rain we had that summer at home in Manchester.
